Deleting your Menumento account permanently removes your account and the data tied to it. This action can’t be undone, so you may want to review your saved dishes first.
Option 1 — Request deletion by email
Email support@menumento.app from the email address associated with your account, with the subject “Delete my account.” We’ll verify your request and permanently delete your account and data as described below.
Option 2 — Delete in the app
If your version of Menumento includes an in-app option, you can delete your account without emailing us: open Menumento, go to Settings / Account, choose Delete account, and confirm. If you don’t see this option, use Option 1 above.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove:
- Your authentication record (your email/login and sign-in identity);
- Your saved dishes — names, ratings, notes, tags, cost, and favorites;
- Your restaurants and their details;
- Your dish photos stored in the cloud;
- Your subscription status record held in your account.
What to know first
- It’s permanent. Deleted data cannot be recovered.
- Subscriptions are separate. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription billed by the app store. Cancel your subscription in your Apple or Google Play account settings to stop future charges. See Support for steps.
- Timing. Deletion is processed promptly; residual copies in routine backups are purged within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated analytics that can’t identify you may be retained.
